Safety in Japan
In Japan, the thing I enjoy the most is probably the high level of safety.
For example, when you are at restaurant, you can let your bag open (as on the picture), and go to the rest room without fearing about theft… As for computers, phones, wallet, you can let it on your table and then come back few minutes later without bad surprise. No one is touching to other people things.
Of course exception could happen. But compared to other countries, Japan is sooo safe!
Phone forgotten at Starbuck Coffee: get it back
Bag forgotten in the international airport shuttle bus: get it back
For girls, you can walk alone at night, in supposedly “dangerous” area without feeling insecure at all. I don’t know if being a foreigner has any link or not, but people won’t bother you at all.
